This broad, shallow blade is ideal for scooping and digging in softer soil. The blade and shaft is heat treated to 50 RC hardness, and sharpened on the narrow entry point. It will cut like a knife though soil, roots and clumped plants. Ideal for dividing plants. The heat treated shaft means it wont bend, even under serious force. The Spotted gum wood handle has a brass ferrule for strength and is ideal for all hand sizes.
