This small lightweight chipping hoe is perfectly balanced and a delight to used for cultivating soil, planting seedlings and removing larger weeds. It features two sharp two cutting faces. A wide face (50mm wide) for breaking softer soil and a narrow point ( 10mm wide) for harder soil. Made from 3mm high carbon steel and heat treated to knife hardness, this tool has serious cutting capacity. The 500mm Victorian Ash hardwood handle is ideal for working in raised beds or from a kneeling position. We also offer a long 1500mm handle version.
